Competition design of a multi-compliant new stadium for the Rugby World Cup 2019 and the Olympic Games 2020, 'convertible' hybrid stadium for different kind of events, iconic tube curtain skin as a communicative external facade, liftable pitch area for optimized viewing conditions and intensive atmosphere inside, retractable membrane roof for multipurpose use of the activity zone, stands-to-pitch rotated geometry as a symbiosis of high quality light conditions and given height restrictions, urban integration by an embracing green plateau which allows smooth spectator access and easy separation of different usergroups, urban stadium concept implementing various facilities inside the stadium - design in 2012
